Gluttony is doubtless the most appealing of the deadly sins. Éric Canino, who has been awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide, has definitely made the right choice by offering a cuisine based on southern flavors, distinguished by excellent quality and a light touch. Further nurturing the dreamy atmosphere, La Réserve Ramatuelle unveils a chapter inspired by the golden age of the decorative arts in the 1950s and 1960s, deployed from the lobby to the new patio-bar all the way to the establishment’s La Voile restaurant. Here and there, the spirit of a sometimes peaceful, sometimes tumultuous Mediterranean, the very place where Maupassant, Cocteau, Sagan – in the neighboring villages – dazzled us with their prose.
